ABOUT

We have had the great fortune of working on this truly inspiring project while networking with many people in the Farmer's market. We believe in the power of working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. For more information about our product please continue reading our website.

OUR CLIENTS

The majority of the population in Hillcrest are not married and white collar employees. Hillcrest also has a large non-heterosexual population. The race is less majorly white when compared to Little Italy, and has several other races that make up the other 50%. Hillcrest combines fresh food and also allows the market to include local artisans to present their work. Additionally, Hillcrest offers arts, crafts, cooking, etc. on special occasions. It was first opened in 1997 with only 35 vendors, but once a congresswoman and the Hillcrest Business Association sponsored the foundation of a concrete market it has grown to 175 vendors every Sunday.

OUR PROCESS

Fall 2016

First of all, we started this project by gathering all the possible information we have to come up with strategies that we can use when we interview people at the farmer’s market, we agreed that we should carry some notes while we are interviewing, then we shared all the notes we have gathered together. After that, when we came to class each member of the group shared his and her own experience about the farmer’s market. Then, we brainstormed ideas about our persona and our final design. Besides that, each one of us has its own task some had to do the website for the group and some had to do the videos and the recording and we all help each other to hopefully end up with a good design that can really be used out in markets.
